Medicine

medicine as science

The Medicine is the science of preventing, detecting and treating diseases or injuries in humans, animals and living beings.
It is practiced by medically trained healers with the aim of maintaining or restoring health. These are mainly doctors, but also members of other health professionals. In addition to human medicine, the field of medicine also includes dentistry, veterinary medicine (veterinary medicine) and, in a broader sense, phytomedicine (control of plant diseases and pests). In this global sense, medicine is the study of healthy and sick creatures.
History knows a large number of different buildings of medical education, starting with the medical faculties in European and Asian antiquity to the modern variety of scientific knowledge. Medicine also includes research on the application of its representatives to the condition and function of the human and animal body in health and disease conditions, with the aim of improving its diagnosis and therapy. Scientific or natural medicine is increasingly using the principles that physics, chemistry, biology and psychology have developed.
