Otology

In German-speaking countries, otology is better known as ear, nose and throat medicine (ENT). It is a branch of medicine. Otology deals with diseases and treatment of the head and neck area as well as the upper airways.

For international scientific understanding, ear, nose and throat medicine (ENT) or otology is referred to as otorhinolaryngology.
