The Summit
The highest point of a mountain range or mountain is generally referred to as a summit.
The different regions therefore set different criteria which a summit must meet:
In the Alps, for example, a mountain counts as such if it reaches a height of at least 300m. If this is not the case, it is referred to as a secondary summit.
