Insectophobia (also insectophobia)

An excessive fear of insects is also called insectophobia. The sufferer avoids places and situations where insects are expected. In particularly severe cases, the mere thought of insects triggers anxiety in those affected. The fears can be triggered both by the insect itself and by the possibility of an insect bite.
