Syphilipphobia

Syphilophobia (also syphiliophobia or syphilophobia) describes the pathological fear of contracting syphilis. With this specific anxiety disorder, those affected live in constant fear of contracting syphilis. He fearfully avoids anything that he thinks might provoke contraction of the disease.

If the phobia is sufficiently advanced, there can be a general fear of the sexual act and physical contact. Even non-specific symptoms are immediately indicated as infection with syphilis.
