Oriental Shorthair

Since 1951, Baroness von Ullman began breeding a new type of Siamese cat that was to have green eyes and a short, uniform brown coat. After a few failed breeding attempts, the Oriental Shorthair cat was created and has been recognized as a separate breed since 1972.

The Oriental Shorthair cat is playful, curious, intelligent, sociable, affectionate and trusting. She needs a lot of attention. She also walks well on a leash.
It comes in about 400 varieties and 30 colors, with black and blue being the most common.
The females give birth to about 6 young per litter from the age of 9 months.
Your body is elongated, lean and muscular. Her legs, on the other hand, are rather delicate. The tail is long and thin. Their head is wedge-shaped, the bridge of the nose is long, the ears are pointed and large. Her eyes are slanted and almond shaped. Their coat is close-lying, silky, fine and shiny.
