Spandex

Spandex is an elastic material from DuPont, which improves the wearing comfort enormously. The fibers consist of 85% polyurethane. Spandex is resistant to ageing, seawater and UV rays. Spandex is used in stretch fabrics and cuffs and returns exactly to its original shape when stretched.
