Three-layer laminate

With the three-layer laminate, the outer fabric, membrane and inner lining are glued or laminated to form a complex fabric. Depending on the outer fabric, very good stability and durability is achieved, but breathability suffers.

The stiff feel and a thickness that takes some getting used to in terms of comfort are characteristic of three-layer laminates.
