Cordura

Cordura is a high-quality nylon yarn made from 100% PA. It was developed by the American manufacturer DuPont. To produce Cordura, cut PA fibers are spun again and then woven. Cordura is available in different thicknesses and is many times more abrasion resistant and durable than ordinary nylon.

Cordura is often used in motorcycle clothing or backpacks, as the material is significantly lighter and therefore more comfortable to wear than leather motorcycle clothing. In addition, the material is easy to maintain. There are now specific Cordura qualities for a wide variety of requirements.
