Z-Liner

Z-Liner is a membrane that is placed on a thin carrier material and loosely worked in between the outer and inner material.

The big advantage of Z-Liners is that they offer a high level of comfort during the day. The disadvantage, however, is that they can unfortunately soak up a lot of water.

On long tours and cool temperatures, this can quickly lead to hypothermia of the body, which is why they are generally not suitable as touring and weather clothing. That`s why Z-Liners are rarely used outdoors.
