Oxford-nylon

Oxford nylon is the name given to PA fabrics that are manufactured using a special process and are therefore more durable than normal nylon. This is why Oxford nylon, with the right waterproof finish, is ideal for rainwear and thermal clothing.

As a heavier version, the material is also suitable for other types of clothing and luggage. The so-called heavy qualities are also referred to as Oxford nylon, which is available in different weight classes (210 DEN and 420 DEN), whereas nylon taffeta describes the light nylon fabric (70 DEN).
