Terrycloth

Terry cloth is a fabric with special absorbency and a pleasant feel. It is primarily used for home textiles such as towels, washcloths or bathrobes. The small loops, nodules and nubs are characteristic of terry cloth. It is a separate form of plush. Terry cloth is made from a fancy yarn or looped yarn in the weft on a regular weaving machine.
