Felt

Felt is a non-woven fabric made from wool and/or other textile fibers. The cleaned, combed, processed to fleece and possibly dyed raw wool or fibers are processed into a solid fabric by felting and fulling. The individual fibers are tightly intertwined with each other.

Felt has many positive properties. It is temperature-resistant, soundproof and cold-resistant, warming, water-repellent and easy to work with. The material is often used for clothing such as felt hats, gloves, slippers or home accessories (rugs, seat pads, curtains) or in technology (seals and noise insulation).
