Compatibility
The term compatibility refers to compatibility, compatibility and interchangeability of systems (hardware, software) from different manufacturers or versions. Incompatibility means the opposite.
For example, software is referred to as upward and downward compatibility. Upward compatibility means that software developed in the future can be easily integrated. Backward compatibility, on the other hand, means that newer software can communicate with older ones.
