Junk Mail

The term junk mail, also known as spam mail, refers to unwanted, unsolicited advertising mail sent without consent.
In everyday life, this includes unwanted messages, propagandists or news articles with similar content that one has no interest in.
The spread of junk mail is unstoppable. Special programs have even been developed for the Internet to send out the annoying mass emails. This makes it possible to send them even via ICQ or other chats.
The authors of junk mail made it fun to make junk mail more and more complex and special. So it can happen that they even hide behind flash animations and are equipped with spyware.
As a countermeasure, special spam filters can be set up, which go through the electronic correspondence bit by bit and examine the text and attachments for unwelcome emails.
Furthermore, there are additional web filters that can be activated to block unwanted e-mail addresses.
