IBM

IBM (International Business Machines) is a large US manufacturer of mainframe systems, PCs, IT systems, computer hardware and software. IBM was founded in Berlin in 1910 as DEHOMAG, in 1949 DEHOMAG renamed IBM International Office Machines Ltd. In 1952, IBM presented a computer for the first time IBM was able to take first place in mainframe systems for years. After the introduction of the PC also got Microsoft and Intel an upswing.
