HTML

The "Hypertext Markup Language" (HTML) is a description language for documents and their design of web pages.
It is used to display images and text on the "World Wide Web" and enables connections, so-called links, to other web pages thanks to its hypertext capability. HTML mainly contains formatting commands for hypertext documents, these are entered with markings (tags) in the source text.
With the help of this, simple text markings such as font execution and font alignment can be encoded.
These markings, or rather commands, are then read, interpreted and executed by the web surfer`s browser, but are usually not visible to the normal viewer.
HTML is intentionally kept very simple, which means that it is cross-platform and cross-platform.
Although the description language can link different text documents, it is otherwise very static. Multimedia elements such as sound or animations cannot be realized with HTML.
To do this, other processes such as Java or Flash must be integrated into the HTML page as scripts.
