Dolomites
The Dolomites (Italian Dolomiti) are a mountain group of the Southern Limestone Alps in
South-Tirol. These have broken up into bizarre towers and battlements or form tall
limestone and dolomite sticks. In between, green pastures with forests and lakes dominate,

Geomorphology The abrupt change between the gently undulating pastures and the steep limestone reefs
