Neva Masquarade

Like her "sister", the Siberian cat, the Neva Masquarade comes from Russia.
In the Neva Masquarade, both mask cat and forest cat are united.
The Neva Masquarade, as a masked cat, has basically blue eyes and a light body color.
This is where the dark spots, the so-called points, of the colder parts of the body,
such as face, ears, tail and legs.

The Neva Masquarade, or Neva for short, as it is usually called for short, is a natural
resulting semi-longhair cat with undercoat. She waits with her seasonally changed
fur volume as with all semi-longhair breeds. The fur is noticeably longer than
in winter in summer. Nevas wear a collar and lush body fur in the cold season.
The tail is very hairy and bushy. When it gets warmer again in spring,
the thicker skin also disappears.
The collar of the Neva Masquarade is noticeably smaller and it can only be increased on the

The coat is naturally very easy to care for as it does not tend to become matted.

The Neva Masquarade is available together with the Siberian cat in all "normal" fur colors.
Since, as mentioned above, it is a breed, they are also mated with each other.
Therefore there is also the possibility that in one litter there are both Nevas and Siberians.
The only requirement is that both parents must be point carriers.

Also in a mating of Neva X Siberian point carriers, Nevas fall.
In character, the Neva Masquarade is an affectionate and social cat that
seeks contact with humans and animals. She is very gentle and cuddly,
sometimes very playful. With her harmonious and delicate voice
draws your attention from time to time.
