Lead

Lead is a heavy yet soft metal, it is highly toxic. Because of its pollutants, lead is classified as a heavy metal. It is very easy to mold and can be cast into any shape.

Lead has a shielding effect against high-energy radiation, which is why lead is mainly used in this area. Lead is therefore used to protect against gamma and X-ray radiation. Lead is also used as accumulators and in paints.
