Iron

Iron is one of the elementary metals and is extracted from iron ore. Iron ore is mined from deep and open pits, most iron ore is now sourced from Brazil, South America, Western Australia and China.

Iron has good thermal conductivity but is not rustproof. Iron is a very heavy material and therefore only suitable for mobile use to a limited extent.
