Conglomerate is a very coarse-grained rock which is basically made up of clay, limestone and sand, mixed with a diverse proportion of mineral and solid fragments. Due to this composition, it is very versatile and is strengthened by adding different binders.

Conglomerates mainly form in gravel fields and alluvial plains. They basically have a high level of resilience.

Conglomerates can also appear in a wide variety of colors due to the different composition. Due to the variety of colours, they are often used in wall coverings and floor coverings.
