The Westerwald is a low mountain range in the German federal states of Rhineland-Palatinate, Hesse and North Rhine-Westphalia.
With an extension of around 3000 km², it is one of the larger mountains in Germany in terms of area.

The highest mountain in the Westerwald is the Fuchskaute at 657 m
