Ortler group
The Ortler group is a mountain range located in South Tyrol (Italy).
Its highest, most important peak is the Ortler, which has a height of
3,905 m asl having. This mountain range has a mountain range of
50 km long and 40 km wide that includes almost 100 glaciers.
The Lasaer Ferner and Suldenferner are among the largest glaciers.
The Ortler Group divides into the
Hap tips the tri-border triangle of Italian provinces
to mark. These are South Tyrol, Sondrio and Trentino.
In addition to the Ortler and the Cevedale, the king`s peak, the Monte Zebrù,
the Thurwieserspitze, the Trafoier Eiswand, the Palon della Mare and the
Punta San Matteo to the primary mountain peaks. The Ortler group includes
over 70 three-thousanders.
