Career:

Sandra Bullock was born in Arlington, Virginia. Her mother is German and was an opera singer by profession and her father is American and a singing teacher. She spent most of her childhood in Germany and accompanied her mother on tours.
She also looked for her musical talent and sang with her sister in the children`s choir of the opera from an early age.
She was introduced to the artist life at an early age, but only decided to pursue acting after graduating from college at East Carolina University.
Her first appearances were in New York Off-Broadway plays like "No Time Flat". There she was able to gain experience and use the stage as a springboard into the world of film. Sandra Bullock initially only got minor roles in film and TV.
Her films at that time included, for example, "Demolition Man", a science fiction action film, or "Without a Trace", in which she played the wife who disappeared from a motorway service station.
Her breakthrough came in the form of three successful films in a row.
The action thriller "Speed" opposite Keanu Reeves, then "While You Slept" a romantic comedy in which she explains the concept of squeezing to Bill Pullman while flirting, and finally in the thriller "The Net" in the role of a pursued computer specialist.
In the years that followed, her films were sometimes more and sometimes less successful. Medium successes include the film adaptation of the John Grisham novel "The Jury". A flop would probably be the film "In Love and War" as a nurse who has an affair with Hemingway.
She then finally celebrated a great success in 2000 with "Miss Undercover", the film built on her best performances, although the sequel in 2005 did not come close to the first part. In 2001 you could see Sandra Bullock in "Murder by Plan" as she solves the perfectly planned crime of two teenagers as a police officer.
This was followed by the Southern drama The Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisters, along with acting legends like Maggie Smith and Ellen Burstyn.
With "A boss to fall in love" she switched back to the romantic comedy field in 2003 and was driven insane by her boss and thus also to the love of her life.
In July 2006 she returned to the cinemas with colleague Keanu Reeves and presented a wonderfully beautiful romance with "A House by the Lake".
Sandra Bullock fascinates in her own way and it will be interesting to see how things will continue for her.
