In 1984, two men from the future land in California, they both have the same goal but different means of achieving this goal. The target is Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton), a clueless young waitress. One of them, privateer Kyle Reese played by Michael Biehn, wants to protect Sarah so she can give birth to the future resistance leader. The other Terminator played by Arnold Schwarzenegger aims to destroy Sarah Connor. The Terminator is a soulless combat robot that has only one goal: the destruction of Sarah Connor. On the streets of L.A, Kyle and the machine ultimately face off in a life-and-death duel.
