The Terminator was born in 2029 - now he`s back from the future. In a possible future after a nuclear war, the resistance of a few survivors is still raging against the machines. Their leader is John Conner. Another terminator travels through time to kill Conner when he was still a boy. It`s the T-1000 (Robert Patrick), a modified, panther-like, perfect model whose structure is made of liquid metal. But another machine has traveled back in time. Tasked with protecting the boy (Edward Furlong) is the original Terminator (Arnold Schwarzenegger). And this time he`s fighting on the right side: Together with John`s mother Sarah (Linda Hamilton) against the almost indelible T-1000. Is there even a way to destroy the perfect death machine? Can the impending apocalypse still be prevented?
