Career

The female Tiger Woods in women`s golf, Annika Sörenstamm, is in no way inferior to the original in the men`s area in terms of success and exceptional positions.

In 2003, she became the first woman to compete in a men`s PGA TOUR tournament in almost 50 years, and it was largely through this that she gained popularity that broke the boundaries of golf.

Annika Sörenstam has been part of the European team since 1994 and played in all seven Solheim Cup matches.
A year later, in 1995, she got the Svenska Dagbladet gold medal.

Annika Sorenstam leads the women`s world rankings established in 2006 by a wide margin and is still a formidable competitor to this day.
