Spread

Indian workers and traders who immigrated in the 19th and 20th centuries were largely responsible for the spread of Hinduism. Today, Hinduism is mainly spread in India, Bali, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal, but now also in Europe, here increasingly in Great Britain. Hinduism has even established itself in countries like Trinidad and Tobago, Suriname, Malaysia, Mauritius, Fiji and South Africa.
