Chemi khat`ia samshoblo,
Sakhat`e mteli kveq`ana,
Ganatebuli mta-bari
Ts`ilnaq`aria Ghmerttana.

Tavisupleba dghes chveni
Momavals around didebas
Tsisk`ris varsk`vlavi amodis,
Da or zghvas shua brts`q`indeba,

Dideba tavisuplebas,
Tavisuplebas dideba!

German translation:

My homeland is my icon,
and the whole world is her (icon) shrine,
shiny mountains and lowlands
we share with God.
Our freedom today praises our future,
the star of the dawn appears
and enlightened between the two seas,
blessed be liberty,
freedom be praised.
