Verwall group

Is the glaciated mountain range of the Central Alps in Tyrol, Vorarlberg and Austria.
The Verwall area fully covers the requirements from beginners to professional hikers.
Whether it`s just a leisurely alpine hike or sport climbing, everything is possible.
In contrast to its neighbour, the Silvretta, the Verwall Group is only slightly glaciated.
The high-altitude trails on the Verwall Group are among the most beautiful that can be found in the Alps. It is also possible to cross the Verwall area without having to descend into the valley.
The network of high-altitude trails and the placement of several mountain huts make day-long hikes very easy.
The Verwall group has several peaks that tower over the three thousand meter mark.

Boundaries of the Verwall group:

In the north:
The Klostertal - from Bludenz to Stuben am Arlberg - Arlberg Pass - Stanzer Tal - Wiesberg

In the southeast:
The Panznaun - from Wiesberg to Galtür

In the south:
A line between - Galtür, the Zeinisjoch and Partenen

In the southwest:
Along the Mantafon - between Partenen and Bludenz
