The film takes place in the future. During this time, soldiers are no longer recruited, but raised and trained from an early age to become unscrupulous fighters. The motto is: "Kill or be killed!" Todd (Kurt Russell) is one of them, a Star Force Solider. He has fought many battles in the past and is therefore also the best and most successful fighter in his platoon. However, it soon seems that its days are numbered as scientists have developed a new breed of warrior. They are even tougher and more ruthless than their predecessors. The best of her kind is called Caine 607 (Jason Scott Lee). In their first meeting, Todd suffers a bitter defeat. He is then taken to a distant planet, a kind of exile and retirement home rolled into one. The plant has a handful of peaceful settlers and slowly Todd begins to grasp what humanity is and learns about life in a different way. However, Caine reappears just as Todd`s humanity is taking over. Now he has to go into battle with his friends one last time. |
