The earth was as good as destroyed. Our planet has just seen too many environmental disasters and nuclear wars. For this reason, the earth looks very different in the year 2139 and people have to live together in so-called megacities. It`s about choosing the lesser evil, because outside the city live the cannibalistic chaos and in the city itself there are almost civil war-like conditions. High-tech cops, the "judges" patrol the streets to stop the violence. They are special cops because they can convict bad guys right on the scene. Among these future cops is Judge Dredd (Sylvester Stallone, a legend and superman cloned from the genes of the finest law enforcement officers What Dredd doesn`t know is that he has a twin brother named Rico (Armand Assante), but he`s on the dark side. Together with the chief judge Griffin, he is already making plans to seize control of the city.
