The film Cyborg takes place in a grim anarchist future in which the world is in ruins and the people are threatened by a deadly plague. The survivors, who include some doctors and scientists, eventually succeed in finding a cure to produce, which is why the Cyborg Perl Prophet should immediately travel from Atlanta to New York to assess its effectiveness to test the drug there. But the cure falls to a criminal gang and into the hands of his leader Fender. He wants to establish a reign of terror with his people. Since a healthy society would never bend to him, he wants to keep the drug for himself all the more so strengthen his position of power. But help is at hand, because Gibson Rickebacker (Jean-Claude van Damme) is Fender and close on the trail. It is important to secure the drug and to render harmless its adversaries, who once murdered his family.
