The lord of darkness (Tim Curry) wants to rule over the world. To do this, however, he must kill all unicorns, since they protect the good of the world with their magic power. That`s why he sends his goblins to catch and kill the shy creatures from the wonder forest with a cunning trick. He uses the innocence and pure heart of young princess Lily (Mia Sara) to achieve his goal. But Jack (Tom Cruise) also lives in Wunderwald, he is a loyal friend of the forest dwellers and also very much in love with the curious princess. When her carelessness triggers the catastrophe, evil has achieved its goal and captured the last unicorn and the princess. The worst happens and eternal night and cold comes over the country. But the lord of darkness reckoned without Jack, who now takes up the fight and, with the help of his friends the elves, fairies and gnomes, goes into the realm of evil.
