Peter Pan has grown old and left Neverland forever. He is now a businessman and father of two children. He has completely forgotten his past until one night when his children are kidnapped by Captain Hook (Dustin Hoffman). This has not forgotten his archenemy Peter Pan and longs for revenge. Thus he brings the children into the Lost World to make them his slaves and wants to estrange them from their father. Now Peter Bannings (Robin Williams) has to look for his roots and gets support from the fairy bells (Julia Roberts). She takes him back to Neverland and with her help and that of the "Lost Boys" he manages to remember. His imagination returns and so he remembers his adventures, fighting and flying. Now Peter Pan faces the greatest test and adventure. He must go into battle with Hook to save his children and Neverland.
