Career:
Roger Moore is best known for films like Agent 007 - James Bond. Originally
the son of a policeman didn`t want to be an actor but a draftsman. In 1941
he first went to an art school in London, after which he worked for an animation studio.
After completing his national service in the British military, he fought in World War II.
In the 1940s he got several small extra roles in films, after which he made the decision
to become an actor. In order to pursue acting professionally, he studied at the Royal
Academy of Dramatic Art. Since graduating, he has been involved in over 100 TV and cinema productions.
Roger Moore worked on other classic films such as `Gold` (1974), `The Wild Geese` (1978) and
"The Sea Wolves" with.
Roger Moore undoubtedly owes his stardom to his James Bond role, which made him all over the world
made world famous. His Bond films were followed by productions such as "Feuer, Eis und Dynamit" (1990)
or "Boat Trip" (2002). Roger Moore finally withdrew more and more from the film business.
He has been a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador since 1991 and uses his status to help children in need
the whole world. In 2003 the British Queen knighted him and since then Sir
name Roger Moore. He has lived with Chistina Kiki Tholstrup in his fourth marriage since 2002. With his
third wife he has two sons and one daughter. His last project for the time being was "This Way Up",
although more films are in the pipeline.
