The Tibetan Mastiff is independent and self-reliant and, as a shepherd dog, needs consistent and understanding training if you want to train it to be a pleasant companion at all times. Absolute cadaver obedience should not be expected. Therefore, only experienced and consistent dog owners who can offer them the right environment should buy this breed. As the shepherd and guard dog of the nomads, she is fearless and makes decisions independently. A good imprint and socialization to the environment is required. She is territorial and reserved in neutral terrain. She only enters into a close relationship with her humans if she has a close family attitude. It is not suitable for a kennel or pure garden keeping. In order to meet your waking instinct, it is not suitable for apartments. Needs regular exercise to experience, she likes to satisfy her need for exercise in games with fellow dogs. She doesn't need a lot of grooming, except for the annual coat change.
