The American Toy Terrier is a non-FCI recognized breed from the United States.

Description

This breed, which has been bred since 1936, is a cross between Smooth Fox Terriers and Miniature English Terriers and Chihuahuas. He has retained all the characteristics of a real terrier, he is robust, intelligent, alert, lively and curious, but he also has his "own mind". With up to 25.5 cm and 3 kg weight, it is a very small dog. The terrier's coat should be white/tan, tricolor, and black/white. Unlike many other terriers, its ears are triangular and erect.

Usage

He is a companion, house and yard dog.
