The term sexuality comes from the Latin sexus (gender) off.
Sexuality, in its broadest sense, describes the behavior, feelings, and interactions of living individuals regarding their sex
From a purely biological point of view, sexuality primarily serves reproduction and thus the preservation of the species. In the animal kingdom, sexual behavior is subordinate to this purpose alone.

In the interpersonal area, sexuality is much more complex.
This applies to both sexual behavior and the diverse sexual practices of humans.
