Doraus-Zunft Saulgau e.V.

The Doraus-Zunft Saulgau has one of the oldest carnival customs in all of Upper Swabia with the "Dorausschreien". However, this awareness of tradition came to a complete standstill, especially after the Second World War. In 1951, the Saulgau Fools' Guild, which was founded before the war, became the Saulgau Dorauszunft e.V. 1355.
Today there are seven groups of figures in the Doraus-Zunft Saulgau. This includes Dorausschreier, the name of the Saulgau Doraus guild, Riedhutzel, the largest group of fools in the Doraus guild Saulgau, Zennenmacher, Pelzteufel, Blumennärrle, shrews and Büttel.
