Tamil

Tamil is a Dravidian language of the Tamils ​​in Southeast India. It is spoken as a mother tongue by around 38 million people, also in the north and east of Sri Lanka. Sinhala is being pushed out more and more by them. Because Tamil is not as heavily influenced by the Indo-Aryan languages ​​of northern India as its neighboring states, it represents the original Dravidian language type in relatively pure form.
