What is Idealo

Since Idealo is not a shop, no products can be purchased on this platform. The site is only for price comparisons of any kind. The Portal is aimed at end consumers who purchase articles and/or services on the Internet and would like to find out more about them. On Idealo, customers receive price overviews and sources of supply for products offered by dealers, service providers and online shops registered with the company on the Internet.

The search for information is largely automated and is mainly based on information that the company receives from online stores and third parties. The details of the respective online shop are updated several times a day via automated processes.

If customers are interested in buying, they are taken directly from the respective website to the pages of the online shop that contain the relevant offer.
