Flight Simulator

Flight simulators have become indispensable in today`s world and are becoming more and more powerful and realistic due to the constantly evolving computer systems. One of the first flight simulators to be mentioned by name was in Germany as early as 1915. It consisted of a pilot`s seat on a movable plate that converted the movements on the control stick into flight-like movements. In the course of technical development, the simulators became better and more complex. At first they were mainly used in the military field of the various air forces of the armies. These flight simulators now consist of elaborately reproduced aircraft cockpits that are mounted on hydraulic dampers and the flight movements are almost identical to those of a real aircraft. Inside there is a faithful replica of the instruments and displays of the respective aircraft type. Nowadays, all civilian pilots are also trained on such simulators during their training period. The greatest advantage of a flight simulator is that you can recreate any imaginable situation without endangering people or material. This contributes enormously to improving flight safety and has already prevented many a disaster, since the pilots were already prepared for most emergencies.
In the meantime, more and more flight simulators in the form of PC games are pushing into the entertainment sector and are used in the private sector.
