Books

Books is the plural of book . A book is a collection of sheets, printed, written on or blank, bound together in a binding and often with a book jacket. According to UNESCO, such a collection is only called a book if it consists of at least 49 sheets. Books have the function of preserving, handing down and disseminating intellectual and immaterial content in society. If a single work is self-contained or part of a volume, it can also be called a book.
An audio book is also a variant of a book, as are the increasingly popular e-books (electronic books), which can only be read in conjunction with a PC.
