In order to protect the high-quality paintwork of today`s cars and to preserve their value for longer, they are often protected with a paintwork seal. There are different seals based on different technologies. Probably the best and most well-known is the so-called "Nano sealing" , this technique was adopted from nature. The leaves of the lotus flower were examined and their dirt-repellent properties used. The nano-particles bond with the subsurface at the molecular level, and the surface treated in this way allows dirt and water to roll off. These seals are ultra-thin, invisible but still extremely effective and effective, mechanically and chemically resilient, frost-resistant and heat-resistant, depending on the seal type, even up to 250° Celsius. These products can be used to coat metals, plastics, glass and textiles. They can also be used inside the vehicle to protect the plastic surfaces from dirt and dust. The seats can also be impregnated with it and are then liquid-repellent. However, inferior products are currently also advertised with this designation in order to offer them in the high-price segment. When buying such products, you should therefore pay attention to the test seal of the TÜV or an equivalent control body.
