Elastane

Elastane is a very stretchy material with over 85% PU content. It is very similar to rubber and has high strength and durability.

The material is used for the production of stretch fabrics and cuffs, because their great advantage is that they return exactly to their original shape after stretching.

Elastane is primarily used to improve fit and thus comfort. The material is used for trousers, skirts, swimwear or lingerie. The most well-known brand name is Lycra. The higher the elastane content, the better the clothing adapts to the body.
