Material Science

Materials science (also materials science) is an engineering science that deals with materials that are used in machines, systems and apparatus. In materials science, the focus is on the application-oriented aspects of materials.

The findings are primarily gained empirically. They are used to develop materials according to chemical and physical properties required by industry, such as tensile strength, corrosion resistance, hardness or ductility or brittleness of steels, other metals, their alloys, ceramics and polymers as well as composite materials.
