Ytong

Ytong is a hardened aerated concrete or aerated concrete. The name Ytong derives from the Swedish Yxhults ånghärdade gasbetong which means hardened gas concrete.

Ytong is currently made using water, cement, quartz sand, lime and the addition of aluminum powder. Ytong is a popular building material and is mainly used in construction.
