| 52700-52799 | In our experience, this error message usually occurs when another device on the network is using the same IP address as the Wii console. | Manually assign an IP address to your Wii console: 1. First you need to figure out which IP address range to use. To do this, you must do the following: a) Click the "Start" button. b) Click on "Run". c) Type "cmd" in the field and press Enter. d) Type "IPCONFIG /ALL" and press Enter. Your PC's IP address is displayed. e) The IP address you will assign to the Wii console should be 10 digits higher than that of the PC (e.g. 192.168.1.100 becomes 192.168.1.110). f) Enter exactly the same values for the Subnet Mask, Default Gateway, Primary DNS and Secondary DNS. 2. Now you need to manually assign the new IP address to the Wii console. A step-by-step instruction for this process can be found here.
